About This Campaign
Our Plan:
Our plan involves expanding our crochet vocational trainings in intensity, capacity and purport. As such, we attent to reserve a larger section of the Community Center for crochet vocational trainings, extending the amount of trainings held per week and the amount of artisans capable of joining.
Additionally we aim to extent the purport of the training by including entrepreneurial training elements. This initiative requires an estimated investment of approximately $3,500 to provide two vocational trainings for a duration of 4 months. With this support, the profit made from the SalamLADC Shop can go directly to the artisans without additional costs for organization of the trainings.
Our Commitment:
The Community Center in the Bekaa Valley was created with the vision of providing high-quality, accessible education while also encouraging meaningful dialogue among Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian living in the area. Beyond vocational trainings, we will continue to cook up to 2000 meals a day and offer our current education, which serve over 700 children and adults each year. Many of these students are children who do not have access to formal schooling, and our center is dedicated to providing them with the educational opportunities they need and deserve.
Salam LADC, started in 2006, has supported thousands of individuals across various communities in Lebanon. Our commitment has always been to serve everyone, regardless of their background, and we continue to welcome all in the community. Our continued dream is to create dialogue, foster respect, spread happiness and love.
How you Can Help:
